Hello Moto

Just Jilli, Rebecca Taylor Jacket, Rebecca Taylor, Moto Jacket, Fall 2014 Jacket TrendsToday’s outfit is all about this tweed moto jacket that I ‘borrowed’ from my mom (sure mom, of course you’ll get it back… *wink) What I love most about this piece is the fact that it’s made of an unexpected fabric (tweed) in an unexpected color for that fabric (neon). I threw it over this A-line swing dress, which happens to be a trend I talked about a couple weeks ago (http://justjilli.com/2014/08/26/all-about-the-a-line/). I’ve had both of these pieces for a while now, but only just discovered how well they work together, which is why I was excited to wear this particular outfit. However, the great thing about a moto jacket is it that it naturally pulls together just about any look. And the great thing about a moto made of a unique fabric is that it makes a statement all on its own. Pairing with simple jeans and a white tee would make a great casual outfit for a dinner out, or even work if your office is casual enough.
